Very well made - I have only two differentially hardened Katana to compare it to (G-901 V3 Chikara and Ryujin Kengo). Having not handled anything with such a deep sori (naka-zori, kyo-zori or torii-zori) before I was unsure how it should feel or handle. I have as yet not tried test cutting with it - but the blade feels like it wants to fall forward more than either katana. (Ryujin Kengo in the hand feels almost neutral to me, the G-901 V3 Chikara slightly wanting to fall forward itself, tho not as much as this Tachi does.) It is clear this would be a powerful slashing weapon and will be interesting to test cut with when I get around to it. Finish is superb, fitting into saya initially was a little tight, but after having been drawn a few times I find it personally good - even shaken it will not fall out upside down, yet can be drawn without difficulty (both my katana will fall with even the slightest encouragement.) Pricing is unbeatable and I will be buying more from ROM - as an Australian, having shipping included makes a massive difference - shipping alone adds another $100+ to any sword purchase from any other manufacturer. I look forward to exploring your European range, tho I am tempted to buy another tachi in the more koshi-zori style like the Yamitsuke.
