What is Obitori in Japanese Katana terminology?

This is a part used to pass through and secure the ""Tachi-o"" (sword cord). It is attached to the ""Ashikanamono"" (metal fittings used to suspend the sword from the waist) through the ""Yaguragane"" (a metal fitting that connects the ""Yamagatakanamono"" (a metal fitting that connects the scabbard and the Ashikanamono)).
