Received defective / wrong item
If the items is confirmed defect due to manufacturing problems / send by mistake, We will cover all expenses included product fee and shipping fees, otherwise, the buyer should be responsible for two shipping fees. We may charge you extra $30 as processing and custom clearance fee, and we are not responsible for the return shipping fee.

*The traditional Clay Tempering method was used on this blade*
Clay tempering method is to apply clay on the spine of the blade, and mainly tempering the edge. This results a hardened edge and softened spine, makes it ideal for cutting.
*Above we illustrate the general process of clay tempering, each sword design might use different Hamon line design / tempering technique.

I can't believe how much blade you get for so little money. Coming from medieval swords where 130 dollars gets you a crowbar vaguely resembling a weapon, Getting an authentic clay tempered blade properly built and tightly wrapped seems like an absolute steal. Only nitpick is that the wooden dowels pinning the tang in place are unfinished wood and stand out a little bit. NBD if you ask me. 10/10
The blade is a little bit off angle from the midline but its barely noticeable. The Tsuba is acceptable quality and everything feels very solid as a whole .

really a beautiful sword. Even better than I anticipated. The hamon line looks great and so do the coppery-bronze tsuba and habake. Very well balanced due to the not-thick tsuba and the bo-hi. Overall probably my happiest purchase here

This katana is awesome for the price! Everything on it looks very high quality, perhaps apart from the rayskin, but that doesn't matter to me. The cutting performance is good and it has a good weight, the blade fits in very nicely with the Saya as well. The only flaw I found with it is that the blade is very slightly curved but it's so slight that you really have to look hard to notice and it doesn't affect performance, I'm sure this is a normal thing for a sword like this at this price point. I would rate this sword a 9 out of 10 for sure due to the astounding quality at this price. I'm a first time katana buyer so please take this with a grain of sand if you want.
