What is Kawatsuzumi of Samurai Armor

This refers to the technique of covering the surface of the chest armor (Do) and Skirt (kusazuri) of the Do-maru and Haramaki with leather. This technique was used from the Nanboku-cho to the early Muromachi period. It also has the meaning of reusing armor by collecting and attaching small broken plates from battles.
