What is Munaita of Samurai Armor?

This is a metal fitting attached to the top of the Do (cuirass). It typically has a concave shape in the center and plays a role in protecting the chest and reinforcing the front stand-up, maintaining its shape. It serves as the attachment point for the high cord that connects to the shoulder.
