What is Sewn Extended Armor (Nuinobe dou) of Samurai Armor

Sewn Extended Armor (Nuinobe dou)
This refers to a type of chest armor (Do) made with ‘Cut-Attached Iyo Plates’ (Kiritsuke Iyozane), where cuts are made in the upper part of a horizontally long plate to make it look like it was made with ‘Iyo Plates’ (Iyozane). Armor made with actual Iyo Plates is called ‘Original Sewn Extended Armor’ (Honnuinobe dou).
