What is Ushiro Tateage of Samurai Armor

This refers to the section of small armor plates located at the top of the back armor (below the Oshitsuke-no-ita and above the line of the Wakiita or Nagakawa). In O-yoroi and Do-maru, it typically consists of three tiers, while in Haramaki, it is usually one or two tiers. In the case of Tosei Gusoku, it generally consists of four tiers.
