Received defective / wrong item

Clay tempering method is to apply clay on the spine of the blade, and mainly tempering the edge. This results a hardened edge and softened spine, makes it ideal for cutting.

la espada es genial, tiene un peso equilibrado, el hamon es perfecto tiene unas líneas que a contra luz lucen hermosas. El único defecto que le veo a esta katana es que tiene una torsión al final de la hoja y tal vez sea por el templado, sin embargo pudieron enderezarla en el proceso de fabricación, fuera de eso es perfecta. Aun que aun no la uso para cortar se nota que el filo es excelente.

This sword cost me $138. It out cuts blades I've paid substantially more for. Extremely well balanced and fun to use. Ito has remained tight after around 3 weeks of daily use. Fit to saya is perfect. Very impressed with the blade I received for the money. I did change out the habaki and tsuba, but that was an aesthetic preference thing. Highly recommend.
I am very happy with my katana, the sword was delivered in 15 days. Also the sword came into oil and plastic wraps to ensure the quality of the blades. I'm very happy with my purchase, it's worth waiting for halve a month. Surely I'm going to order something again! :))
Love the sword, cuts great. Onky suggestion is the wrap was a little lose but honestly a easy fix.

I was very happy with the quality and look of this sword. It appears very well made and looks great. It has a nice sharp edge and the weight feels great in my hands. Overall nice sword for the money and definitely worth the purchase! Bought a Wakizashi as well and it’s just as nice!
It's a nice sword but a little generic. Especially the tsuba. I've seen it on other katanas. That you have. I thought it would be an original piece. The same goes for the habaki. Well balanced. A good practice sword.
Looks as beautiful as the pictures and it is a nice weight. It's obviously well looked after as it can with oil and plastic wrapping the blade to keep it in a good condition. Also packed really well.
