This is a very nice sword for the money. The way Zack speced out the "Ghost" was very close to how I would have done it, and with the discount ROM offered, I could not pass it up. Pros: The overall look and feel is excellent. The tsuka is wrapped very tight. The blade is very sharp. The saya coloring is very cool with an organic, natural feel to the pattern. I really like the color of the kojiri, kurikata, and koiguchi. The hamon is very pronounced and looks fantastic. The quality is high all around. Cons: The blade will only fully seat in the saya with a lot of force, which then makes is difficult to extract. This is likely a function of the low humidity in my location, so it's really not that big of an issue. So, I just don't fully seat it which leaves about an eighth of an inch of the habaki visible. Overall, 5 out of 5 stars. This is my first ROM purchase, but will not be my last. Side note - I like the katana so much that I went to spec out a matching custom wakizashi, but the same saya pattern is not available for the wakizashi. So, I've reach out to ROM to see if they can make a wakizashi with the same patterned saya, but I have not heard back yet.
