Received defective / wrong item

Presenting the official Shadiversity Medieval Katana. This Katana was designed by Shad M. Brooks and built to our high-quality standards, combining a medieval style with the legendary Japanese sword. With a leather handle, longer blade, and a strong distal taper, this Katana is made to move and feel more like a medieval longsword than a traditional katana. The Shadiversity Medieval Katana features a specially designed custom tsuba of the shadiversity shield and sword logo, and is truly one of the most unique and distinctive katana ever made.

Nice quality. Arrived fast and sharp. Sturdy construction has kept tight after testing. Additional length is very nice for taller guys.
Very versatile sword. Cuts extremely well and is put together with quality parts and labor.
It looks gorgeous and is extremely charp but sadly came damaged, I got another one as compensation so I’m happy with it
It is beautifully made, and feels light and handy. It is nicely sharp, and needs very little force to cut cleanly. It only fails when the edge alignment is off. It even took a clean, smooth cut through my cutting stand when I mi-aimed my cut. Definitely recommend it!
I am very pleased with this sword! For the price being asked, it's a fantastic product. I'm really glad that Romance Of Men decided to do a collaboration with Shadiversity on creating this sword! It's a bit bigger than anything I've trained with prior, requiring a slightly different style of use (more akin to a claymore than a katana). That said, it is light enough that I can still wield it one handed, just not very quickly. This purchase makes me want to see if ROM also makes a normal length katana with a distil taper. I might just have to get another sword that I really don't need.
Great Katana, it feels quite unique in the hand because the distal taper is more pronounced and it's slightly longer. I added the Menuki like Shad suggested in his review but after handling it, I would suggest leaving them unattached. The Tsuba is very unique and well made and for this price and the quality, I would suggest anyone interested in it to get it.
I initially wanted to order this to support Shadiversity, but was pleasantly surprised after I watched his video that is was both properly sharp and is of O'katana length. Construction to my untrained eye feels very solid with nothing lose (I expected as much from previous videos which did not disappoint)
Beautiful sword!! Extremely sharp and the Romance of Men sword makers have absolutely MASTERED their craft. Their spring steel is legendarily durable.

I called thinking that I wanted the hilt wrapped with the normal katana string and was informed that they would have to redo everything if they did that. I’m very happy I listened. This was the first sword I'd ever bought and didn't know what to expect. It was very easy to place my order, but when I didn't hear anything for a few weeks, I emailed customer service to ask when I could expect it to be delivered. I got a response immediately explaining there was a larger than average number of orders and it was taking a little extra time to go through the sharpening process, which was fine by me. I'd rather it be the best quality possible and wait a little longer for it than be rushed. It arrived soon after perfectly packaged and I absolutely love it! It truly is a beautiful sword, and I intend to take the best of care of it and hopefully have it for a lifetime. Thank you.
Good blade for the price. Several small nits to pick but nothing that will stop me from using it for cutting. With just the leather wrap, the grip seem a bit small, although the leather does seem to give good purchase. I may yet wrap the leather with silk in increase it's bulk. Overall, not bad at all and worth some attention.

Very nice sword, sharp. Love the unique design and longer blade. Only issue is that there were some cosmetic dings/marrs on the tsuba for some reason, not sure why.
