What is Etchu Armor (Etchu Gusoku) in Samurai Armor

This is a type of Tosei Gusoku. It was completed by Hosokawa Tadaoki and named after him because he preferred to use it. It is designed with minimal defense to allow for easy movement. It lacks features such as Fukikaeshi (flaps on the kabuto) and sleeves (sode). The Shin guards (Suneate) do not have Tateage (a type of decoration), and it does not have Ieji (family land).
