The term "Sue-mon Kanamono" refers to decorative metal fittings (Kanamono) used in armor. These include chrysanthemum-shaped metal fittings attached to the metal parts in the kabuto, for example around the eyebrow shield (Mabisashi), the turn-back (Fukigaeshi), and the Sandalwood board (Sendan-no-ita).
