What is Kanagu Mawari of Samurai Armor

This refers to the parts of the armor made of iron or leather plates, and the parts where the decorative leather (Egawa) is applied. These parts are often covered with dyed leather (Somekawa) on both sides, and are often edged with a metal plating process called Fukurin. It includes the Mabisashi, Muna-ita (chest plate), Waki-ita (side plate), Tsubo-ita (pot plate), Kyuubi-no-ita (tail plate), the crown plate (Kanmuri-no-ita) of the sleeves (Sode) and Sendan-no-ita, Shoji-no-ita (sliding door plate), Oshitsuke-no-ita (push plate), and Gyouyou (apricot leaf). It is one of the basic materials that make up the armor.
